HTMi Students supporting Basel World 2019
Following on previous successful collaboration, HTMi Career Centre has been contacted once again by Planitswiss to support Basel World 2019, the world’s largest luxury watches and jewellery show.
This year our students got the chance to work with the popular watch brand Citizen, which introduced new products for 2019 under the theme “We Explore Time” with an installation designed by Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects in Tokyo.
HTMi would like to congratulate our ambassadors who have participated in this prestigious event: Ms. Paula Toma, Ms. Lok Yiu Lee (Yoyo), Ms. Linda Phanova, Ms. Aizhan Kozhonova and Ms.Yanan Ji (Alaia). They all carried out their duties with high standards of professionalism leaving the guests and event organisers with great impressions. Consequently, another invitation for collaboration have been already extended by Planitswiss for next year.
HTMi Career Centre would like to thank Planitswiss for the collaboration and for providing our students with such a great experience and we are all looking forward to Basel World 2020.

Recruitment Week Fall 2017 – Marriott International
On the peak of the Recruitment Week Fall 2017, HTMi Switzerland had the privilege to welcome Ms. Joanne Loh – Senior Manager Talent Acquisition Asia Pacific, Mr. Arthur Wan – Talent Acquisition Manager China and Ms. Jessica Rey Dubra – International Program Manager J-1 USA from Marriott International.
After an outstanding presentation and outlook into the possibilities to join Marriott International, numerous students joined them for interviews.
We would like to sincerely thank Ms Loh and her Team for taking the time and getting to know HTMi, Sörenberg and its great, motivated students. We are looking forward to continue our cooperation with Marriott International and wish them all the best for their Recruitment trip.

A busy first half of the Fall 2017 Recruitment week is coming to an end. HTMi Students and staff had the opportunity to meet with Adam Smith from Yummy Jobs, Mike Roberge from RM Consulting and with the HR Team from the Swissotel Zürich. We would like to thank all participants for their cooperation and are looking forward to continue with strong Hospitality Presence on campus in Sörenberg in mid October.

… and the successful Recruitment Week Fall 2017 at HTMi Switzerland in Sörenberg continues.
A busy start of the week, with three on campus visitors. the prestigious 3 Michelin Star Restaurant The Fat Duck from the UK, Gstaaderhof from Gstaad, Switzerland and European River Cruise Line A-Rosa Cruises.
After starting into the day with inspiring presentations, numerous students had a chance to interview and get to know the company representatives. At the end everybody was happy, the companies with the talented candidates, the students with their upcoming internships and the Career Center with the overall responds. A big thank you to everybody who has participated and we are looking forward to the next visitors a little later this week.
Recruitment Week Fall 2017 – The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain
On behalf of HTMi Switzerland Team we would like to express our gratitude towards Mr. Thomas Riveyran – CEO of Placement International and Mr. Jacques Landry – Director of HR at The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain for visiting the HTMi Campus Sörenberg.
Their visit represents the official opening of Fall 2017 Recruitment Week. We are delighted to continuously cooperate with Mr. Landry and team in Arizona, USA. through their J-1 visa programs. Numerous HTMi students and graduates have successfully started their career with them and are now placed in internationally recognized companies.
